• Purpose: To communicate progress since last review • Task Leader, using the updated msProject schedule discuss: o Tasks completed as per schedule o Tasks progressed, but not yet completed o Additional work undertaken, but not on the schedule o Impact on overall project schedule o Resolved issues Identify tasks scheduled but not achieved • Purpose: To put approved actions in place to get tasks experiencing slippage back on track. • Task Leader, using the updated msProject schedule discuss tasks not completed as per schedule: o reasons for variation from schedule to be reported (Pareto chart or root cause analysis). o Impacts on other project Tasks o Recommended action(s) to be taken: Remedial actions, Additional resourcing, Absorbed in project float, Adjust schedule. • Accountable Role Holder to make decisions on: o Remedial actions, o Additional resources, o Adjustments to schedule (include remedial or additional actions in schedule and/or adjust schedule resources and milestones).Not the Baseline. Key elements of progress expected before next review • Purpose: To communicate expectations for coming review period. • Task Leader, using the updated msProject schedule discuss: o Tasks to be undertaken over the next week (or longer, if appropriate) o Critical issues o Tasks that may not progress as expected, given the progress to date and the manager’s decisions re. Actions • Impact on overall project schedule
