Only make changes that will have a material impact on the OMS forecast, that is, changes that would be likely to create a special cause in the control chart of the process performance. Only make forecast changes for future OMS reporting intervals (i.e. typically the next month and beyond). Changes made on shorter notice will be reflected in the reporting of actual timing/frequency and duration from the work management system to the OMS.
