In identifying discretionary work changes to the Operating Master Schedule consider the following; • creation of buffer capacity in the process • creation of 'float' in the OMS • process optimisation, • process capability enhancement, • environment, • amenities • community projects, etc.
A broad range of personnel may be stakeholders in this discretionary work and hence, should be consulted for input and advised of outcomes.
